Career Transition (CT) is an integral part of your SAF career and MINDEF has put in place an array of CT provisions, initiatives and resources to help you make a smooth transition to a career outside MINDEF/SAF.

CAC Management Consultants International
As part of MINDEF’s commitment to facilitate your CT, we have contracted CAC Management Consultants International (CAC) to provide you with a personalised career coaching and job referral service.
CAC is the Co-owner of Career Partners International (CPI), a global human resources consulting firm which comprises the world’s leading boutique talent management firms. Specialises in outplacement services as well as executive coaching, CAC has worked with candidates from all levels including C level executives. CAC has covered outplacement services in both private and public industry sectors with MNC clients from industries such as electronics, manufacturing, IT, disk drive, financial, banking, logistics, semiconductor, shipping, aerospace, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, recreation, healthcare, media, FMCG, tobacco, etc.
Having handled large outplacement projects of up to 1,000 candidates within a single company and with a track record of 100% of candidates finding jobs within an average of 3.5 months, CAC is a valuable partner to CTRC in the provision of the job referral service.

ST Electronics (e-Services) Pte Ltd (STEE-eServ) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems) Pte Ltd (STEE-InfoSoft). With more than 30 years of Workplace Learning and Performance Experience, Centre for Management Development (CMD), one of the centres of STEE-eServ, manned by a credible and experienced team possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in providing services in the areas of individual, group and organisation training, education and career transition (CT). Engaged by MINDEF to facilitate the implementation of career transition services since the 1990’s, CMD has a deep understanding and appreciation of the requirements that MINDEF has and the ground needs of uniformed personnel.
Through the course of supplying this suite of CT services, CMD has also built an extensive network of contacts with government agencies, associations, private sector organisations, educational institutes and training providers.
In partnership with CMD, we have successful implemented our career transition provisions such as cases management; organising networking events, industry visits, CT workshops and seminars; job facilitation; and development of the CT portal to help our servicemen overcome challenges that they face in their career transition.
